sociologymajor
I am looking to book a hotel, preferably 3.5* and up, on the Strip (preferably Center or South) on the weekend of March 16 - March 19. I have never seen the prices on hotels in Vegas look this high. I am used to booking a hotel for around $100 a night on the strip at places like Bally's Harrahs or Circus Circus. I see Hotwire has 4-star Hotel in Center Strip - Eiffel Tower area | 80% 1 Room, 2 Adults, 0 Children Fri, Mar 16 - Mon, Mar 19 I think that might be the westin. For $170 a night. By the time taxes and resort fees.. it's over $240 a night. Can anyone suggest better ways to find better deals for these dates? Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Rates are high as it's the opening round of the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. Although none of the games take place in Las Vegas, it's one of the heaviest sports gambling weekends of the year (with nearly 100 basketball games taking place over the 4 day weekend from Thursday-Sunday)... add to this event St. Patrick's Day and you have very high demand and in turn higher than usual prices. If you're OK with the North Strip around Circus Circus how about: 3* The Strip - Northwest (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $132/nite with: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Business Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here would be the Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino The $170 property you asked about seems to now be sold-out at that price and is now: 3.5* The Strip - Central East (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $185/nite with: Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here would be Ballys Las Vegas I'm also seeing: 3* HOTWIRE South Strip - T-Mobile Arena for $95.00 Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> best guess here would be the Excalibur Hotel Casino which may not be the best hotel on the strip, but probably a better location than Circus Circus or... 3.5* HOTWIRE North Strip - Fashion Show Mall for $135.00 Free Parking Free Internet Resort Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Stratosphere Hotel, Casino and Tower, Bw Premier Collection Any of the above work for your needs this trip?
