Phoenix - Full Size having no luck

I started bidding for a full size probably 2 weeks ago for a trip next month, March 20th-24th.  I started at less than $20 and have been bidding almost every day and I'm now up to $52 with no luck.  Any ideas?

I suspect Spring Training is having an effect on higher rental prices, as well a Full size cars may not be as plentiful as economy/compact cars.

 

While it may be counter-intuitive, assuming your drop-off time is the same as your pick-up time, you could try changing your drop-off time to 2+ hours after your pick-up time (so while if you really want to pick-up/drop-off at 1pm, make the pick-up 1pm and the drop-off 3pm)... this turns your 4 day rental into a 5 day rental so you would need to lower your bid price accordingly (to equal your $52 4 day bid), but you may have more luck with a rental company seeing this as a 5-7 day rental vs. a 4 day rental.
