Hotwire Hotel: 4* Savannah (Forsyth Park) B Historic Savannah

Got 4* in Forsyth Park Zone for $120.  B Historic Savannah.  HOTWIRE suggested that the last guest had gotten this hotel so took a chance.   3/1 -3/2.

 

Used the Hotwire Coupon from Betterbidding to save an additional $15.  Great deal.   There appears to be some discrepancy as to whether B Historic is a 4* or not.  Several other sites...Priceline, Hotel.com, Booking.com, Tripadvisor vary from 3* to 3.5* to 4*.  Not sure I've every seen such variance amongst the main booking sites.  Guess things are in flux at the hotel.  Either way, it's exactly where I needed it to be and good price point.

Seems like not even HOTWIRE can decide upon a star rating since they also list this property as 3.5 stars HERE.  Regardless of what the 'true' star rating should be, glad to hear this location works out perfectly for your needs and that you're happy with the outcome.

 

For the future, note that the "Last person got ___" information is in reference to the last person who bought a hotel of this star rating in the zone, not necessarily in relation to the underlying hotel that is currently being offered, so usually not a good idea to use this information in an effort to take a guess as to the hotel you may receive.
