missy Posted March 4, 2006 Report Share Posted March 4, 2006 My husband and I are planning a 5 day/4 night trip during the week of 4/2/06. We are leaving the kids behind and having an adult vacation! I have heard great things about Alexandria and the Residence Inn in Old Town? I thought Alexandria might be a good place that sor of in the middle as far as activity and low key. If we want we can meander through the streets of Alexandria at our own pace or we can catch the Metro over to DC for more activity. Does anyone have sugesstions for another hotel if I cant get the Residence Inn? I wanted something kind of nice since we might be spending more time in the room than we usually do on vacations. The breakfast buffet is a nice addition and will also stretch my dollar further. What is the last bid anyon won for this hotel? any suggestions or tips on good places to eat or must see attractions please let me know Link to comment
