nassib10 Posted January 28, 2018 Report Posted January 28, 2018 Looking for a 4-5 star casino hotel in Las Vegas from 3/9 check-in and check-out on 3/13. Would like Bellagio, Aria, Wynn, Caesars, or Cosmo. I have 8 adults and would like to stay around $150 with some flexibility. Non-smoking please

thereuare Posted January 28, 2018 Report Posted January 28, 2018 Need a little more clarification please... 1 hour ago, nassib10 said: Looking for a 4-5 star casino hotel... Would like Bellagio, Aria, Wynn, Caesars, or Cosmo. None of these properties are 4 star rated (in fact all are currently 5* rated by PRICELINE with the exception of Caesars which is 4.5*)... So is the goal to land one of these properties OR is the goal for a 4 star are higher hotel? To give you a better idea of where you would like to compromise, i think i'm currently seeing something like the Aria for about $183/nite (the Cosmo might be available for about the same price), Palazzo/Wynn upwards of the $200-area... would any of these be worthwhile to stretch your budget or do you prefer to go for a lower rated hotel? nassib10 Posted January 28, 2018 Author Report Posted January 28, 2018 I would like a 5 star casino hotel. I’m thinking to do a name your price for one of these hotels. I am going to offer around $150 for the central west area first and go from there. Any thoughts?
thereuare Posted January 28, 2018 Report Posted January 28, 2018 When bidding on PRICELINE you can't pick/choose the hotel(s) that you're bidding on... you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you bid on. So for instance, if you try bidding for the Strip Southwest for the Aria, how do you avoid the non-casino Vdara which is also in this zone? If you try bidding for the Wynn how do you avoid the Encore, Palazzo, Venetian, etc. which are also in this zone? nassib10 Posted January 28, 2018 Author Report Posted January 28, 2018 That is true but for central west I would be comfortable with any of the 5 star options. Would this bid option include non-casino hotels?
thereuare Posted January 28, 2018 Report Posted January 28, 2018 From the Priceline Hotel List all 'known' 5 star hotels in this zone have casinos, but be sure to read the comments at the top of the hotel list. If you want to move forward and bid only on this zone at the 5* level let us know your maximum bid price and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. nassib10 Posted January 28, 2018 Author Report Posted January 28, 2018 i want to try to get bellagio. What do you suggest? as far as method and price
thereuare Posted January 28, 2018 Report Posted January 28, 2018 When bidding 5* in Las Vegas you have FOURTEEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. You can try as follows starting with this PRICELINE link: Select 5* The Strip - Central West Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $123, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $133, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $138, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $143, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $148, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $150 If the above is rejected you can take this offer (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking the link below): 5* The Strip - Central West for $161 (down to $153/nite using the BetterBidding Priceline Coupon discount ) Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> my guess for this one would be The Bellagio NOTE: i was wondering why the above is just a little cheaper than the rates i saw just 5 minutes ago, and i see that your topic title indicates 3/10-3/13, but the body of your post indicates 3/9-3/13... the link above is for a stay starting on 3/10; the nite of 3/9 would be a little more expensive) Any questions feel free to ask (especially confirming your re-bid zones if you're new to the subject or unsure) 6 minutes ago, nassib10 said: i want to try to get bellagio If this is what you want then i would just take the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer i linked above as i think it's your best chance at targeting this property and you're not likely going to save much (if anything) by bidding when compared to using the link above along with the board's exclusive discount. However, if your check-in date is actually 3/9 then i don't think the rate above is still available and you will need to spend a little more to get the type of hotel you're hoping for.
