LisaDisney Posted January 27, 2018 Report Posted January 27, 2018 Looking to try to get the Grand Hyatt Tampa FL for Feb 9-12. would like to do a priceline bid (Rocky Point 4*) to maximize savings. I know the Westin comes up as well....any way around getting the Westin? I have read terrible reviews....and LOVE the hyatt there. Best rate I have found conventionally is apx $225. Thanks. Lisa
AaronJB Posted January 27, 2018 Report Posted January 27, 2018 Welcome to Betterbidding. There is no way to avoid a particular property when bidding - you have to be willing to accept any hotels at the star rating picked in the zone picked (or higher star rating if there is one.) What would be your desired max budget per night for this stay? I'm seeing on PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the link below.) 4* Tampa Airport West - Rocky Point for $179 Pets Allowed Free Parking Business Center Airport Shuttle Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Best guess would be the Grand Hyatt. The listing is showing a 9+ customer rating, so the underlying hotel gets excellent reviews. You can also use the promotion in my signature or our Priceline Coupon page for an extra 5% off. Would this possibility be of interest/be within your desired budget? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
LisaDisney Posted January 27, 2018 Author Report Posted January 27, 2018 Considering that option.... Was really trying to stay below $500 for the 3 nites (tax/fee incl) I guess it’s tough as I fondly remember getting this hotel many times for $50/$60 on Priceline bidding.
AaronJB Posted January 27, 2018 Report Posted January 27, 2018 These do seem to be somewhat busier/more expensive dates. Is this the only acceptable area?
