pointsmaniatic@ Posted January 18, 2018 Report Posted January 18, 2018 Hi All, Looking to get the Venetian Hotel from Feb 15 to Feb 19 for about or close to $150 per night. Doing a search for those dates in Priceline Express, only one option comes up in the Northeast Area: $177 5* Hotel in Northeast Fitness Center Swimming Pool Casino 9+ Guest Rating 800 Verified Guest Reviews >>> Looks like the Wynn when compared to the regular pricing on Priceline Any tips for getting the Venetian? Also, what would be a reasonable price per night for these dates, considering it is a holiday weekend? Thank you!
thereuare Posted January 18, 2018 Report Posted January 18, 2018 Welcome to BetterBidding! The cheapest i'm seeing the Venetian at the moment is $244/nite... and as much as i love the Venetian/Palazzo, i would sooner book the Wynn/Encore given the price difference (i have never stayed at the latter, but have been spending a bit of time at each over my last few Vegas trips and am really starting to like it there) The other option i'm seeing if you wanted to be more in the Center Strip (confirm your dates on the landing pages after clicking the link provided below): 5* The Strip - Central West for $187 Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here would be The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection which would would of course also qualify for an extra 5% off using the BetterBidding discount in our Priceline Coupon page Also, if SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID is an option (again, always confirm your dates on the landing pages): For 2/15-2/17: 5* The Strip - Northeast for $131 Business Center Restaurant Airport Shuttle Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here would be The Venetian From there you could consider something else for 2/17-2/19 some of what i'm currently seeing below: Encore At Wynn Las Vegas for $213/nite Cosmopolitan for $227/nite Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Are you only interested in the Venetian (and i assume also the Palazzo) or are you open to other 5 star strip properties? Is there flexibility in your $150/nite budget? pointsmaniatic@ Posted January 18, 2018 Author Report Posted January 18, 2018 Thank you for your response. I do not longer see the quoted $131 for the Venetian from 2/15 to 2/17. Ideally, I would not want to split the reservation. There is a little room in the budget, but I wouldn't want it to go over $180 per night. I would also consider the Bellagio or Aria. Any other thoughts on this?
thereuare Posted January 18, 2018 Report Posted January 18, 2018 The $131/nite rate is no longer available... and i don't see the other properties you mentioned as possibilities within your budget for your dates either (i did check last nite for anything in other zones that was also close to your budget). The issue is that for 2/17-2/19 there is a big jump in rates: Venetian is $348/nite Palazzo is $378/nite Bellagio is $329/nite Aria is $ 319/nite Although rates are substantially less for 2/15-2/17, you have the difficulty of hoping that any hotel that offers a deal for the more expensive nites is also offering a good price for the less expensive nites... it's almost as if you need to be lucky enough to have two wins and you need each of those wins to be at the same property. It can and does happen... but currently does not to seem possible for your dates. You either have to hope for lower prices in the weeks ahead (although while you're waiting/hoping they decrease rates could move in the opposite direction and move even higher from here), increase your budget, SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID, or be open to other properties. For your complete stay i see the following within your $180 budget: Trump at $123 Vdara at $151 Encore At Wynn Las Vegas at $170 The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection at $178 (all of the above are before taxes/fees but does include the BetterBidding Priceline Coupon page discount) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
