davetroy Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 Bid for three-stars on Priceline in Greenville, South Carolina, starting at $30 a night, May 5th-7th. Got rejected, added an area and bid $35, rejected, added an area and bid $40. Rejected. Went to Hotwire (through SavingsBarn.com), and this came up under 3-stars: This midscale establishment offers more than just the basics in style, comfort and customer service. Best Value. $47. Took it. Turned out to be the Holiday Inn at Augusta Rd. I-85. I know nothing about it, so I'll come back and let you know when I come back.
