Hotwire Hotel: Help ID 2 Sao Paulo Hotels

Hi all,

 

I am looking for help identifying two different hotels in the Jardim Paulista - Paraiso Area of Sao Paulo.  I couldn't find a list of hotels for Sao Paulo or any recent posts for SP on the board.  Just for one night, 12/29-12/30.

 

First hotel:

4* - $74

Showing 90% recommended and rating of 4 on 669 reviews on TripAdvisor (is the number of TripAdvisor reviews accurate?  I couldn't find any hotels with that amount of reviews)

Amenities (from HotWire EasyView Tab): Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible path of travel, Accessible parking

According to Hotwire, last person got Pergamon Hotel (which has rating of 4 on 625 reviews so pretty similar).

 

Second hotel:

4.5* - $83

Showing 75% recommended and rating of 4 on 2577 reviews on TripAdvisor

Amenities:  Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

According to Hotwire, the last person got Maksoud Plaza (which has 4 rating on TripAdvisor with 2599 reviews...seems to match up closely).

 

Is it likely that the first is Pergamon and second is Maksoud?  If so, the hot rate prices seem to be the same or higher than if I booked either hotel on TripAdvisor, Expedia, etc.

Please start by following-up your previous Ibiza Town Priceline hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip, then reply here and we'll have a look at your post above.  Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans.
