thereuare
Please start by following-up your previous Indianapolis Downtown Hotwire hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. For the hotel(s) above I believe there are likely more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? However, to streamline things a bit... is there a specific property(s) that you're hoping to target (or avoid)? What are your needs for this trip? What is your maximum budget? (per nite before fees/taxes) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
AaronJB
Also, I'm quite familiar with Chicago and would be happy to answer any city or hotel questions. If you are not going to be in the hotel much and will be out exploring the city, many of the 4.5* properties are quite nice, especially for well under $100. If you are going to be in the hotel more and want to use amenities, there are a number of good options at the 5* level. I will say that in Chicago at the end of January, I'd focus on convenience/central location. Additionally, with PRICELINE EXPRESS there is also the current 5% off promotion in my signature. RyanF
Followed up on the Indy hotel and I am not really looking to avoid or target any particular hotel, but the Chicago Athletic Association, Radisson Blue Aqua, Thompson and LondonHouse look appealing. Definitely don't want the Westin MI Ave, the W Lakeshore, James, Godfrey Link to comment

AaronJB
The CAA and particularly the Radisson Blu have rarely ever been seen as wins. The Monaco for $85 would be a very good deal for a terrific, centrally located Kimpton property. The Sofitel is also quite nice and a block or two away from the core of the Michigan Ave. area.
