Hotwire Hotel: Chicago Millenium Park - Radisson Blu Aqua

I was very happy with my recent posted win in Millenium Park for 4.5* Swissotel for $US 77. I have one additional night that is not connected to the end of this bid. I am hoping for the Radisson Blu Aqua just across the alley from the Swissotel.

Any tips / suggestions?

Thanks,

Please provide a reply to the follow-up question in your Chicago Hotwire thread for the Swiss, then reply to this thread with the date of travel and we would be happy to take a look for the Radisson Blu or other hotels right nearby (there are a number of nice options within a quick walk.)

I look forward to your response regarding Dec 23 - 24 Hotwire Millenium Park. The 4* is: fitness, golf nearby, internet, restraunts, accessible and wheel in shower. The 4.5* is:  Business Centre, children’s activities, pools, pet friendly, fitness Centre, restaurant, smoke free, spa and internet.

In regards to your previous Hotwire hotel purchase:

Those were all the amenities listed for the Swissotel in trip information in my Hotwire account.

In your HOTWIRE account look under the amenities that you are seeing, do you also see (please reply in that thread):

Blind Accessible

Deaf Accessible

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

Bathroom Accessible

Roll-in Shower

In regards to the trip above in this thread...

Please search using our BiddingHelper.com tool and in the EASY VIEW tab click the GREEN 'Full Amenities' button next to the listing in order to get the full amenity set (and also include the room rate per nite as it makes it easier for us to location the same hotel among the offers when we replicate your search)

I'm seeing on HOTWIRE:

4.5* Millennium Park for $68.00
Pet Friendly
Smoke Free
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Spa
Childrens Activities
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Roll-in Shower
==>  Guess would be the Swiss

I am seeing on PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm that the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the link below.)

4.5* Downtown Chicago - Millennium Park for $86
Pets Allowed
Business Center
Restaurant
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
>>>This would likely be the Monaco, which is well-reviewed and really just a couple min walk West of where the Swiss is. Plus, wine social hour at night.

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing what appears to be the Radisson Blu, but that property really has only been seen as a win only a few times since it opened.

Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. I'm very familiar with Chicago and would be happy to answer any city or hotel questions.

Hi AaronJB,

Thank you for your consideration of my post. I will select through betterbidding’s HOTWIRE link for Dec 23 - 24 and post the results.

I’m liking the Swissotel and I have a contiguous date (already booked directly) at the Radisson Blu Aqua. I can just wheel across the alley between properties.

Cheers,

Thank you for keeping us updated on what you decide and let us know if you have any additional questions. I'll note that there is a staircase across the street of the Swiss; you can walk down on that and North on the bridge - a block or two further North there's a very nice Whole Foods. For breakfast, Wildberry (https://www.yelp.com/biz/wildberry-pancakes-and-cafe-chicago-2) is a short walk South, although it can be pretty crowded at times.
