aussieun Posted December 16, 2017 Report Posted December 16, 2017 Hi there, Im a newbie here are clueless sorry haha. This is my first time using PRICELINE or HOTWIRE and I'm hoping you can help me identify a hotel. On Priceline: Its a 4 star hotel in Orlando, Disney Springs area travel dates are the 28th Jan 2018 to 2nd Feb 2018 price per night is $80 USD and an additional mandatory resort fee of $30 (and change) per night Amenities listed are Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Would I be correct in thinking this is possibly the Hilton Lake Buena Vista? Thanks so much in advance for your help
thereuare Posted December 16, 2017 Report Posted December 16, 2017 Welcome to BetterBidding! We'll be happy to help with your travel plans... For this offer (confirm your dates on the landing page of the link provided below): 4* Walt Disney World - Disney Springs for $80 Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> i can't rule out the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista In The Walt Disney World Resort as a possibility, but the B Resort And Spa Located In Disney Springs Resort Area would be another likely outcome and i think is the slightly better guess Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
aussieun Posted December 17, 2017 Author Report Posted December 17, 2017 Thank you so much for your help. I am not overly keen on the B Resort so I will hold out a little longer and see what else comes up as the dates get closer and then post again. I will be making a few different bookings for our trip to Orlando on different dates so I will be sure to use your links to do so (and will likely have more questions) Thanks again
thereuare Posted December 17, 2017 Report Posted December 17, 2017 For further questions regarding a hotel for these dates please keep them in this thread... for questions (or to report a win) for a hotel for different dates please use a NEW TOPIC. What is it that you are looking for in a hotel for this trip? Are there other hotels besides the Hilton Lake Buena Vista that you're interested in? What is your maximum budget (per nite before taxes/fees)? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. aussieun Posted December 17, 2017 Author Report Posted December 17, 2017 Hi again Thereuare, I would ideally love to be either in the Disney Springs area like the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, The Hilton properties etc given their frequent transport to the Disney parks or if that is not possible to be at one of the Disney hotels. Ideally would prefer 4 star in Disney Springs (but I am flexible) and if its a Disney hotel prefer Moderate or above. Budget; if its a Disney Springs hotel with high resort fees to add on then around 100 per night plus taxes and resort fees would be ok. If it was a Disney hotel without resort fees then probably up to around 140/150 per night. I do really need a hotel with a shuttle to the Disney parks as I wont have any other transport. Obviously this is just my wish list and I know that its may not be achievable so I am very flexible with my criteria. I'm open to suggestions and ready to book :) Thanks again
thereuare Posted December 17, 2017 Report Posted December 17, 2017 Would this work: 3.5* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $88.00 Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Tennis Kitchenette ==> from the Hotwire Hotel List this matches previous reports for the Towneplace Suites Orlando @ Flamingo Crossings West Entrance (which as per their website does offer shuttle service to the Magic Kingdom). I realize this is a 3.5* rated property and you mention above a 4 star hotel, but this one does get very good reviews (with a 4.5/5.0 TA rating) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts (or how it goes if you decide to take this one) and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
aussieun Posted December 17, 2017 Author Report Posted December 17, 2017 Thanks, I had considered that property previously but have read pretty negative reviews of the shuttle service, if I were driving I'd definitely be keen on that one. Sorry p.s. I should have also said the 3.5 star isn't an issue (and I'd be happy to look at other 3.5 star hotels) just the reports on shuttle being problematic are off putting. Thanks again
aussieun Posted January 15, 2018 Author Report Posted January 15, 2018 Hi guys, Im hoping you can please help me identify this HOTWIRE hotel. Hotwire WDW Bonnet Creek Dates 30th Jan 2018 - 1st Feb 2018 Price $49 3* Using your links the amenities show: FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Children's activities On Hotwire I can see that the number of Trip advisor reviews matches the number for the All Star Movies Resort which I would be happy with. Do you think that guess is correct? (I think All Star Music is there also at $48 per night) Thanks in advance
thereuare Posted January 15, 2018 Report Posted January 15, 2018 From the Hotwire Hotel List the amenity set above matches previous reports for Disney's All-Star Movies Resort so that would be my best guess for this one. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. PS- should be merge this thread with your previous Disney Springs Priceline thread or are you still looking for a separate hotel for the dates in that thread, 1/28-2/2 Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
aussieun Posted January 15, 2018 Author Report Posted January 15, 2018 Great news, it WAS the All Star Movies resort. Yes please merge my other post. Apologies for creating duplicates I thought because the dates varied I needed to. Thanks for all of your help. I of course used the link through the BiddingHelper.com
thereuare Posted January 16, 2018 Report Posted January 16, 2018 Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received a nice deal for this Disney property and that you're happy with the results. Thank you for sharing your win and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase. Enjoy your stay.
