i_maria95 Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Hello, I hope someone can help me with this search on Hotwire. I am travelling with my friends and we are looking for a good deal. Since our budget is not that high we are considering this deal, can you help us find out which hotel we might get? Your help is highly appreciated :-) Location: Center Strip - Eiffel Tower (75% recommended) Date: 11/24 - 11/26 Star rating: 4* Occupancy: 3 persons Price: $73 (40% off $121) Resort fee: $33 per room per night I have aleady searched the hotels in your hotwire hotels list but I could not find any with a resort fee of exactly $33. Amenities: Free parking Free Internet Pet friendly Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Golf nearby Spa services Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking Roll-in shower
AaronJB Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Welcome to Betterbidding. I'm seeing on HOTWIRE: 4* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Eiffel Tower for $73.00 Free Parking Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> The Westin has been seen with this amenity set previously so that would be my guess. Let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
i_maria95 Posted November 19, 2017 Author Report Posted November 19, 2017 Would you say the Westin is a good hotel?
thereuare Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 It wouldn't be my first choice, but as you note, you're on a tight budget so maybe it will do. The issue(s) with the Westin is that it's located slightly off-strip and it lacks the 'flare' of a typical Vegas property (you'll be staying a 'typical' hotel that just happens to be in Las Veags... rather than an over-the-top Vegas-themed property); but the question becomes what other options do you have at this price point? What would be your maximum budget (per room before fees/taxes) for this trip? i_maria95 Posted November 19, 2017 Author Report Posted November 19, 2017 I had the same impression, when I saw the pictures. Around $120 per night would be the maximum before taxes if I can get a nice hotel not too sout or north from the strip, preferably in walking distance to Bellagio, since the main attractions are there. Thank you so much for helping me. I am okay with priceline and hotwire, and the guesses that you make. :-) but for Priceline we can't chose a room for 3 so I guess I have to stick with Hotwire
thereuare Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 How about the following PRICELINE EXPRESS property (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking the link provided below): 4* The Strip - Southeast Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here would be the MGM Grand Hotel Casino and if you click on the link above there is an option for 2 Queen Beds for $96/nite. Although technically your reservation is still only for 2adults i don't know of anyone who has yet had an issue checking in with triple/quad occupancy when a specific room type was booked that is designed to accommodate the number of guests in the group (you can further reduce/eliminate this risk by only have 1or2 people go to the desk at check-in while the other person begins to explore another area of the hotel, the shops, etc... then after getting keys have the 3 reconvene and go up to the room together) Under a similar scenario you could also consider: 4.5* The Strip - Northwest Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess here would be The Mirage which offers 2 Queens for $109/nite For both of the above you can knock another 5% off the rate using the board's Priceline Coupon. Either of the above work for your needs?
