Retail price was $58 (68.14 with taxes/fees) for same hotel (NAMED) on Priceline.com website, so "EXPRESS DEAL" ended up costing me an extra $1.83 in fees. I stopped using Priceline several years ago because of the occasional ringer (dog) hotel...like this one, which has HORRIBLE reviews & should be a 1* or 2* at best...located way on the far eastern edge of S. Natomas boundary (which mostly has very nice 2.5 hotels like Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn) on Northgate Blvd, which is known for high crime. Done with Priceline!

1) reach out to PRICELINE and question their star rating for this property and/or let them know of your disappointment in the hotel received (pointing to any negative reviews you can find for this property)

2) in the future ask the board for help prior to your purchase as we can offer an educated guess as to what it is that you may be receiving and usually are able to warn users of any potential known issues in a given area
