I've been looking for some time for a decent price on the extremely busy Thanksgiving weekend.  Not sure how great of a deal this is but it's affordable and very convenient to where I want to be.  I'd booked (and now cancelled) a back-up hotel at Long Island City so I'm incredibly happy to now be walking distance from the Beacon.

Congratulations on your success!

Given the time of year this appears to be a very good deal on this property... the fact that you're walk-able to the Beacon is a bonus (it's still a bit of a hike, about a 30 minute walk... but you can also easily catch the 1 train at 50th St and Seventh Ave if you wanted to take the subway to the Beacon)

Thanks for the train tip but I love walking. If you have any suggestions for a favourite, trusted parking garage (any walking distance) I'd be very interested!

Just wanted to follow-up about parking.

Went online through BestParking and picked a garage on W. 55th.  Prepaid $84 + $5 fee for the weekend ($42 for 24 hours).  Totally easy valet garage, legit and convenient.
