Hotwire Hotel: 4* DC (Georgetown) Fairmont Washington, D.c., Georgetown

Hello, I'm looking at staying in a 4* DC Hotwire Hotel in Georgetown for one night on 11/10 to 11/11/17.  I got a hot rate: hotel of $95 (without using promo code yet).  Need help identifying .  I think it could be the Fairmont DC, but not sure.  Also, I know two adults will be staying, but may have two more (kids) traveling with us, just don't know yet.  If I book the two adult room, but end up having two kids come with us is it possible to have hotwire switch to a two bed room setup instead of 1 king?  Is there an extra charge for that usually.  It does allow me to chose 2 queen beds for an extra $10, but I don't want to spend that if I don't have to.

As far as the 2adults vs. 2adults/2kids, it could be an issue as (assuming we're correct on the guess for this property) they appear to charge more for a room with 2 beds vs. 1 bed (both thru HOTWIRE and when booking via 'regular' rates).  Not only could there be an additional charge, but what if the hotel does not have any rooms with 2 beds available when you check-in?

 

Given (again, assuming we're correct on this hotel guess) this would be a BIG discount vs. a regularly booked room, the hotel gets great reviews, and it's the last day to use the $10 Hotwire Coupon, i would book the room with 2 Queens as i think it would be easier to ask the hotel to switch from 2Q --> 1K than the other way around.  As well, once you decide if the kids aren't coming, then you can all the hotel (sound all excited) that a relative agreed to watch the kids so now you're just two, and as you never get a nite away just the two of you, if they could please adjust the reservation and change the room type to 1King.

Booked it (from BB HOTWIRE link) for $105 plus taxes and fees (less $10 from promo code).  It was The Fairmont Washington DC.
