DeepNimbus Posted October 28, 2017 Report Posted October 28, 2017 Hello! Priceline bidding attempt, looking closely to get Disney Swan I see 4.5* in Bonnet Creek, with Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Fitness Center, Business Center, Guest Score 8/10 or Higher, with hotel fee (I'm assuming resort fee) is 31.50$. It is for one night stay. Likely the Swan? I saw recent posts stating 31.50 was the new going rate for resort fee at the now 4.5* Disney Swan. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted October 28, 2017 Report Posted October 28, 2017 Welcome to Betterbidding. A resort fee showing during the check-out process when bidding does not indicate a particular hotel, it is warning you that there is a possibility that you may get a hotel with a fee. When you bid, you have to be willing to accept any hotel at that star rating in the zone/s selected - there is no way to get/increase the odds of a particular property. Let us know the dates of travel and desired max budget per night and we would be happy to research options and make suggestions. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
DeepNimbus Posted October 28, 2017 Author Report Posted October 28, 2017 Hello! This is for March 9-10, 2018, possibly to 11th. My budget is ~$150 before fees and such per night. I would love to stay the Swan in Bonnet Creek or Omni hotel in West Maingate area. I also have seen a 4.5* hotel at Disney Maingate West with Guaranteed Amenities:Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Restaurant, Fitness Center, Business Center, Guest Score 8/10 or Higher, with hotel fee of $29, which seems to be inline with what Omni charges for a resort fee. As far as I know, the only 4.5* hotel in Disney Maingate West is Omni, and the only 4.5* in Bonnet Creek is the Swan, so this info + the resort fee matching up with previous success stories, had me somewhat confident. Am I off the mark? I appreciate any help and advice!

DeepNimbus Posted October 29, 2017 Author Report Posted October 29, 2017 I am looking for ideally both nights March 9-11, and those are the hotel fees quoted on the priceline bidding website for both locations for March 9-11th. I only originally put in for 1 night in case I didn't get either the Omni or Swan, and thus would only be obligated for one place. So... am I onto something with my prediction, or am I completely off? Thanks again
thereuare Posted October 29, 2017 Report Posted October 29, 2017 This is what i'm seeing for the 4.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS offer in the Bonnet Creek zone when searching for Mar 9-11 (confirm your dates on the landing pages after clicking any links provided below): 4.5* Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess for this one would be the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, but note that the price is way beyond your budget at $546/nite (the 'regular retail' rate for these dates at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel starts at $624/nite... so your expectations of landing this property somewhere near the $150 range does not seem realistic at this point in time). Searching for only the first nite does not improve pricing enough... $412 via PRICELINE EXPRESS (or $536 retail) On a more optimistic note this is what i'm seeing in the Disney Maingate West zone (March 9-11): 4.5* Disney Maingate West for $147 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess for this one would be the Omni Orlando Resort At Championsgate... and you can lower the price an additional 5% using the BetterBidding PRICELINE link and code at the top of the page (or in my signature below) I assume the Maingate West property works well for your needs?
