LuLu_L Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Hi there, I am new to this, is there any way to identify the Courtyard Marriott when bidding for a hotel on Priceline? If anyone has any tips they would be appreciated! Thanks.
thereuare Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 With Priceline there is no identifying hotels beforehand... with Hotwire is can sometimes be done.Start with this thread: I've Never Used Priceline or HotwireIf you do need to book direct please note that this board is an affiliate of the Marriott Properties and we would appreciate it if you used this previous link (or the one found in our SUPPORT PAGE) to begin your purchase. If you'd like to move forward with either of the opaque services let us know and we'll try to help. LuLu_L Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Posted March 2, 2006 Thanks, I've read that, but was under the impression that it was possible to identify a hotel sometimes by the description, even though the name is not listed? Or are there too many hotels with similar descriptions in that area to know for sure?
thereuare Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Priceline does not describe the hotels at all, so there is nothing to help identify them. On the otherhand Hotiwre shows you the amenities that the hotel has and you can often use that to assist in identifying the hotel. The only opaque service i know that uses descriptions is EasyClickTravel, which uses both opaque and non-opaque offerings... is that what you're thinking of?
