steve 13 Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 San Diego 11/4-11/9 (Hotel Circle-Mission Valley area) $75 on PRICELINE EXPRESS Business Center Free internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Very Good 8+/10
thereuare Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 Best guess for this offer (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking the link provided below): 3* Hotel Circle - Mission Valley for $75 Business Center Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> not 100% certain, but the Residence Inn San Diego Mission Valley or the Courtyard By Marriott San Diego Mission Valley/Hotel Circle (i'm a bit 'iffy' as i would expect the Residence Inn to typically show a Breakfast amenity while i would expect the Courtyard to show a Restaurant amenity)... either way this property does get good reviews given the 8+ user recommendation from previous PRICELINE guests Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
steve 13 Posted October 26, 2017 Author Report Posted October 26, 2017 Thanks for your help! I have a decent rate that I booked directly at the Best Western Plus Hacienda Old Town. If I book this Priceline Express deal, I will let you know. For now, I'm watching Express Deals and I may bid on a 3 1/2 or 4 star hotel next week. I will click your PRICELINE link to access their site.

Please follow-up your threads with whatever you decide to do for this trip (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. What is your back-up rate at the Best Western? It would be appreciated if you used our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases... or if you're looking for something as a placeholder our other site RefundableRates.com which enables you to compare rates on an apples-to-apples refundable basis. steve 13 Posted October 26, 2017 Author Report Posted October 26, 2017 The Best Western rate is $101.36/night. The AAA parking rate for 5 nights is $47.50 (1/2 off regular price). Total price with taxes= $652.65. The PRICELINE EXPRESS deal will save me about $80.00 (assuming that parking will be $19.00/night). I may still book that, but I'm keeping my options open since I have a backup plan that I can live with. I will check out your sister sites in the future, and I will let you know what I ultimately decide to do on this trip. Thanks for all you do!
steve 13 Posted November 2, 2017 Author Report Posted November 2, 2017 The Priceline Express deal that I inquired about is gone. I have decided to use my reservation at Best Western. Thanks for all your help!
thereuare Posted November 2, 2017 Report Posted November 2, 2017 Thank you for closing this thread with your decision. Sorry to hear this one disappeared on you while you were thinking about it and the trip will now cost you a little bit more than needed. Have a great trip!
