Hotwire Hotel: Vegas 10/21-22 4* up (on the Strip)

Welcome to BetterBidding!

All of the casino resort-style hotels on the strip now charge resort fees ($35-$45) which if you deduct that from your total, and then account for taxes/booking fee (and deduct that from your total), you're unfortunately not left with very much for a Saturday nite arrival.  Compound the issue that most of the higher end Las Vegas hotel rooms now charge more  for anything more than double occupancy and/or for rooms with two beds.

This what i would do (confirm your dates on the landing page after clicking the links provided below)...

5* The Strip - Northeast for $135
Business Center
Restaurant
Airport Shuttle
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
Casino
Fitness Center
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
==> best guess for this property would be The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, which is going to put you slightly over your budget ($207 all-in after taxes, fees, resort fee) but it may be one of the nicest hotel rooms and properties you ever stay in... a 'true' Vegas hotel with an oversized room.

However, the caveat is that this is only available when booking for 2adults per room and you will (in all likelihood) get a room with one King bed but all rooms at this property have a pull-out sofabed.  Your reservation is still only for double occupancy, but i would just have one adult take the two kids elsewhere in the hotel lobby and only have 2-3 adults go to the desk at check-in.  If you're comfortable with this approach, i would run to book it as i think this is the best value available and the extra $20 over your budget will be worth it given how much this property will exceed anything that may be $20 less.

If you're not comfortable with the above you could book rooms with 2 Queen beds for $265 all-in per room, which i'm assuming is a bit too far from your budget.  Your options then become (all of the following can be booked using 2rooms/4adults/2chldren):

4* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Eiffel Tower for $90.00 (about $112 all-in)
Free Parking
Free Internet
Pet Friendly
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Laundry
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Spa
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> best guess would be The Westin Las Vegas Hotel and Spa which is slightly off-strip and also lacks any Vegas theme

4* HOTWIRE North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $145.00
Free Parking
Casino
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Tennis
Spa
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> likely the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino which is not in the main part of the strip that you ideally want to be

5* HOTWIRE North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes for $177.00
Free Parking
Resort
Suite
Casino
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Laundry
Hi-Speed Internet
Spa
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> The Palazzo (4adults/2children) is my best guess here

Dear

Thank you so much with your response. I didn't expect that I'd get such a detail answer from here but I was wrong. It's all very useful info.

From the link you have provided, I couldn't see the option below, is there a incorrect date? I am going to stay there from 10/21~22. Deeply appreciated.

Li

Those hotels, and rates, were all posted over 4 days ago and that offer is no longer available... offers will change quickly which is why i suggested booking the guessed Palazzo asap if you were interested in that one.

What are your thoughts on the booking double occupancy vs. triple occupancy?  Was the guessed Westin the one that you were most interested in?  What aspect(s) are most important to you in regards to this trip... is price the primary driving factor?

???

What is it exactly that you're looking for in a hotel... or is price the most deciding factor and that is where we should focus our attention most?

Is your budget still $180 all-in? (as i still think the Palazzo would be worth stretching your budget by ~$30/nite if at all possible)

Dear thereuare,

Thanks again for replying back. Yes, double occupancy will do.

As addressed in the first post, our budget is $180 all-in but the lower the better. We like to stay as close as possible on the strip but if we can get a deal like you mentioned earlier, ~$130 all-in, it's ok to be a little bit off since we will have a rental car.

Our most attention would be focused on the cleanliness of the room. We had stayed in Excalibur and it didn't leave us a good impression. Please advise. Thanks, Li

From my original reply deducting taxes, fees, resort fees, etc. does not leave much within this budget.  Note that if you stay off-strip and drive you may also encounter parking fees at the majority of casino hotel properties.

Currently the least expensive 4* or higher hotel offered by HOTWIRE is:

4* HOTWIRE South Point - Rodeo Arena for $124.00
Free Parking
Free Internet
Casino
Shuttle
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Spa
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> best guess for this property would be the South Point Hotel, Casino, and Spa (which is not really close to the strip, you will need to drive to the 'main' tourist-y part of the strip.... although does fall within your budget at an all-in price of $175/nite (although using the our HOTWIRE link and coupon code at the top of the page will bring this down to $165/nite for each room)

Next least expensive options:

4* HOTWIRE West of Strip - VooDoo zip-line for $135.00
Free Parking
Free Internet
Resort
Casino
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Spa
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> The Palms Casino Resort would be my guess for this one

4.5* HOTWIRE West of Strip - VooDoo zip-line for $138.00
Free Parking
Free Internet
Condo
Boutique
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Laundry
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Kitchenette
Spa
==> from the Hotwire Hotel List matches previous reports for the Palms Place Hotel and Spa at The Palms Las Vegas
