thereuare Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Nice to see you around the board, Z!You back to hotel living? We thought of you the other nite while we were sleeping (or trying to) at the Sheraton Airport in Charlotte... hearing every door slam (at least one every 3-4 minutes) was quite annoying. I commented to Mrs. Thereuare how 'living' at the Doubletree Suites (where we were 3 nites prior) would be great... but landing the Sheraton we were in would be just awful every nite we had to 'live' there.Guess you quickly learn the hotels in the area and how to avoid certain ones.Hope you're doing well. zbenye Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Posted March 2, 2006 Yes, my 5-month sublet ended today, so it's back to hotels. But rents in San Francisco appear to have dropped quite a bit in the meantime, so I'm probably going to take another sublet or an executive suite as soon as I find a suitable one. The hotel living thing got old. Or maybe I got old :-)Planning to spend the summer in St. Louis again.Nice that the good old La Quinta now has free high-speed internet (wired). I avoided South San Francisco this time, targeting La Quinta or Holiday Inn which are on the bus route. It's going to be raining here - no fun on the motorcycle.Regards to the Mrs.
