Hello Better Bidding,

I haven't tried Hotwire for a while and was intrigued that when you choose a Hot Rate Hotel hidden property, a banner appears across the page that urges one, "Book soon!The last person got (revealed name of property). Is this reliable?

Thread closed; am currently browsing various dates and properties on both Priceline and Hotwire (too many to ask for assistance at this time). Just curious about the reliability of that Hotwire header when it occasionally appears....

The "Last person got ___" information is relative to the last person who bought a hotel of this star rating in the zone, not necessarily in relation to the underlying hotel currently being offered.

Thanks; always begin my searches using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links from the board. Sure would have been great if it was a true reveal!

Using HOTWIRE link, searched for 1 room with 4 adults. Chose 2-bedroom suite under amenities and clicked on $70 3* condo with 85% satisfaction listing. Banner appears saying "Book soon! The last person got the Bryan's Spanish Cove" and when I checked out TripAdvisor and the property website, decided to take a chance it was the exact property I would win. Bingo! Using BiddingHelper.com: FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, 2-bedroom suite, Full kitchen, Air conditioning, Laundry in room, Pool(s), Front desk, Internet access, Golf nearby, Kitchenette
