Chakawoo
Hello! It's the first time I'm using this website and also the name your price tool from priceline. We're visiting las Vegas from September 23-25 and wanted to know how much would you recommend on bidding for a 4.5 star hotel on central west or east,it tells me that they charge around 315 the night. What would be the minimum bid that you recommend? It's for two people. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! You're likely looking at somewhere in the $175-$200 range for these dates, but if you let us know your maximum bid (are you willing to bid up to $200/nite?) we will advise of a starting bid price and suggest a bidding strategy for you to follow. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Chakawoo
Thanks for the quick feedback! $120 is really low for what I'm asking right? Link to comment
thereuare
Yes, at current rates $120 is not likely going to be enough. You may be able to get a 4.5* around that rate if you're willing to stay off-strip (at something like the Palms Place Hotel And Spa)... but not for something on the strip. Your other option would be if you're willing to SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID... staying at a lower star rated hotel (or paying more for the star rating that you want) for Saturday nite and then stay at a higher rated hotel (closer to your budget) for Sunday nite. Where do your priorities lie for this trip... budget, location, hotel star rating, etc? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we will advise accordingly.
