As the hotwire recommend rating for the AC Cambridge is 96% -- a good bit higher than the 85% bracket indicated on my Hotwire blind offer,  I am wondering if it might be rather the Courtyard in Cambridge -- is that something you had considered (and "rejected,") in favor of your posted "best guess?"  Not trying to prove you wrong, just wondering if your guess is based on a Courtyard amenity with which you're familiar but I'm not familiar enough with the system to look for?

You're always welcome to question our guesses or suggest other properties... afterall it's your purchase and trip.

 

We have not seen any correlation between the percent recommended percentage shown for a HOTWIRE 'Hot Rate' hotel listing vs. the 'retail' HOTWIRE hotel listing (where the name of the hotel is shown prior to purchase).  The percent recommended figure historically has been a poor indicator to use when trying to research/identify hotels, so I haven't looked into the discrepancy too much, but i suspect it may be that HOTWIRE keeps two separate recommendation rates... one for 'retail' purchases where the name is known prior to purchase and one for 'opaque' Hot Rate purchases (where the hotel is not known until after purchase).

 

Regardless, as far as i know the Courtyard by Marriott Boston-Cambridge does not have a pool... so assuming this is correct, it would be excluded from the possibilities for the one above since the amenity set shown by HOTWIRE indicates that this offer has an Indoor Pool.
