Hello,

currently priceline has The Linq listed at

$162 a night

Sept 15-18

4* Strip NE

I'd like to try NYOP for this star rating and area to see if The Linq is available at around 125$/night.

I see SLS hotel listed as the same star rating and area on the list, however and I don't want to stay that far north.

SLS doesn't even come up as a regular price option when I search on Priceline.

Do yoi think I'm safe to try NYOP for The Linq?

thanks,

jen

Welcome to BetterBidding!

I'm seeing this 4* hotel in the Strip Northeast zone (confirm your dates on the landing page of the link provided below):

4* The Strip - Northeast for $148
Business Center
Restaurant
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
Casino
Fitness Center
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
==> best guess for this one would be The Linq Hotel And Casino... and you can bring this down to $141/nite using the link and code in my signature

If you decide to try bidding on PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose... i would not recommend bidding a 4* hotel in this zone if you're not willing to accept the SLS as a possible outcome (yes, i understand it's not currently showing on PRICELINE under the 'regular rate' hotels but we have seen in the past when a hotel is won even though it is not showing in the 'retail' side of PRICELINE (or even when it's showing sold-out thru it's own website)).  When bidding you would also run the risk of your 4 star bid being upgraded to the 4.5* level and winning something such as the W Las Vegas, which i assume it's also too far north for your needs since it's located within the SLS hotel.

Given the Linq Hotel and Casino is currently priced at $225/nite for your dates, i would just take the $141/nite above and be happy with the savings, assuming this is the property you are hoping for... i wouldn't mess around in hopes of saving $15-$20/nite and potentially landing in the north part of this zone.

I would also recommend going with the PRICELINE EXPRESS listing if you want the Linq, plus the 5% current promotional code. Thanks for keeping us updated with what you decide.
