Experimentee
A couple of days ago I had seen a Priceline Express Deal on my dates which was likely to be The Jewel, but this deal has now disappeared. Any chance the deal will come back if I wait a bit? I did really like the look of the Jewel and the location was very good. Link to comment
AaronJB
Unfortunately, there's no way to know if the deal will return. With cities like NYC - especially during busy periods - inventory can change fairly often. I'm seeing on HOTWIRE for 10/13-20 $228 Rockefeller 4* Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom >>>A guess would be the Jewel $203 HOTWIRE MTE 4* Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access >>>A guess would be the Affinia Shelburne. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Experimentee
Thanks Aaron. The Hotwire deal which is likely to be the Jewel comes to the same total price after fees and taxes than if I book directly through the hotel website using their 7 night promotion. The deal I saw on Priceline a few days ago was cheaper. I made a cancellable reservation directly through the Jewel hotel website and will keep an eye out for better deals between now and then.
