It's a little strange that Hotwire give me Hilton Waikiki beach, not Hilton resort. Does Hilton Waikiki beach can be called resort? I also sent a mail to Hotwire

The one you received, the Hilton Waikiki Beach is located in HOTWIRE's Waikiki Beach zone... this would not have been the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort (assuming this is the one that you were thinking of) as this property is located in HOTWIRE's Waikiki Marina - Ala Moana zone.

 

Not sure what you're needs/plans are for this stay, but the Hilton Waikiki Beach (the one you received) is in a more central location and closer to Kuhio Beach than the Hawaiian Village... although the Hawaiian Village is a more of a 'resort' destination.
