thereuare Posted August 17, 2017 Report Posted August 17, 2017 Welcome (offiically) to BetterBidding! 3 hours ago, iamtimmyt said: I have been reading these forums for years but never registered or asked a question until today! We're glad to hear that you have enjoyed the forum for years, but assuming that you have made a few PRICELINE / HOTWIRE purchases over this time frame, it's disappointing that this is your first post... it would be appreciated if going forward you started to share all your wins with the board so that others can benefit from your purchases, just as you are hoping to gain insight from those who have posted before you. Best guess/comments for the HOTWIRE properties above: For at least some of the offers above I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to each of these listings, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for each: 4.5* HOTWIRE Magnificent Mile - Water Tower for $210.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> from the Hotwire Hotel List this matches previous reports for the Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile so this would be my best guess for this one 4.5* HOTWIRE Riverwalk - North Loop for $210.00 Free Internet Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa ==> the LondonHouse Chicago, Curio Collection by Hilton would be my guess for this one 4.5* HOTWIRE River North for $236.00 Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Spa ==> no guess You could also consider which inline also contains my guess for each (confirm your dates on the landing page of any links provided below): 4.5* Downtown - River North for $218 Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> from the Priceline Express Hotel List this matches previous reports for The Godfrey Hotel Chicago 4.5* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast for $219 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board for your purchases. Good luck and let us know what you decide and how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
AaronJB Posted August 18, 2017 Report Posted August 18, 2017 While these dates are unfortunately expensive, I will say that the cheapest possibilities of the list above - The Sofitel and the LondonHouse - are very good choices. The Sofitel is near the core of the Michigan Ave shopping area, while the LondonHouse is very centrally located in terms of downtown as a whole. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
