'The Strip' being between Mandalay Bay and Wynn... or does Stratosphere count at the strip in your eyes?

 

At current rates The main part of the strip (ie- the area referenced above) is going to cost you closer to $100/nite for these dates.  If including Downtown this is close to what you're looking for (confirm your dates on the landing page):

Does the guessed Downtown Grand work for your needs?

 

At the low price point such as this you may also want to try MAPS and HOTELS.com to see if anything within walking distance of the strip is available within your budget (just filter on 3* and higher rated hotels and then use the price range arrows to show a high of about $65 or so... just over your budget but this at least ensures you don't miss something great just a few dollars over what you ideally want to spend)
