Welcome to BetterBidding!

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature).

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates:

5* HOTWIRE Magnificent Mile  - Water Tower for $193.00
Free Internet
Pet Friendly
Indoor Pool
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Spa
Childrens Activities
==> if this is what you're seeing, best guess for this offer would be the Park Hyatt - Chicago

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

If searching via the BiddingHelper.com tool next to each offer in the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW  and PRICELINE EXPRESS tabs is a GREEN Button "IS THIS A GOOD PRICE" that will show you the regular price for hotels of this star rating in the area.  Using this the Park Hyatt is almost $400/nite, but this may be a moot point now, as i'm no longer seeing that HOTWIRE offer when searching for your dates (when you're think close to check-in the deals can, and often do, go quickly)

I'm also not currently seeing the 4.5* property above either, i'm seeing this one in that zone:

4.5* Magnificent Mile  - Water Tower for $104.00
Pet Friendly
Indoor Pool
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
==> if you're seeing this one now my guess here would be the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile

I'm also seeing this offer thru PRICELINE EXPRESS (confirm your dates on the landing page of the provided link):

4.5* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast for $103
Pets Allowed
Business Center
Restaurant
Free Internet
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
Fitness Center
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
==> best guess here would also be the InterContinental CHICAGO MAGNIFICENT MILE

The Park Hyatt is a very nice property in a terrific location right in the center of the Michigan Ave area. It really depends on what you want: if you want a 5* where you are going to use the amenities (and the Park Hyatt has a particularly nice restaurant), then $193 is a good deal for a 5*. However, if you are not going to be in the room much, $103 is a very, very good price for the Intercontinental if you are just looking for a nice place to sleep for almost half the price of the Park Hyatt.

Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions.
