thereuare
I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: 4* Georgetown for $162.00 Pet Friendly Boutique Indoor Pool Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Spa ==> Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown would be my best guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. PS- it would also be appreciated if you concluded your previous Miami Hotwire hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
cricri7
Thank you so much for the answer and the trick about using the link. I saw the whole list of amenities with the green button next to the listing. While researching everything this morning, I saw that I will probably have to push back my dates a week and, on those dates, it is less expensive booking with Fairmont. It is still up in the air if I will be using HOTWIRE on the 1st or Fairmont directly on the 8th. You are bringing me back to 2010...that was a way back!!! I looked up my account and saw that I finally bid on PRICELINE and got the Courtyard for 85$. Thank you again...have a nice day! Link to comment

Nobody reading your previous thread (when it comes up in a user related search) will know to look here to know that you ended up bidding and winning the Courtyard... please follow-up THAT THREAD with this information. If you are changing the dates then there is a chance that the HOTWIRE rate is cheaper as well, please confirm once your plans are firm, and if you still choose to book a regular rate please also check rates at our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com as it helps support the board and keeps this site a free resource for everyone. cricri7
My Miami thread is now up to date! I entered the new date and it was still 162$. I got a special rate of 149$ since I am a member of Fairmont's president club. It is cheaper to book from them than Hotwire. I'll come back this week and let you know what happened with my booking. Thanks again!! Link to comment
AaronJB
On PRICELINE EXPRESS, I'm seeing (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the link below.) 4* Georgetown North for $121 Pets Allowed Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Guess would be the Kimpton Glover Park. Would this cheaper possibility be of any interest? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. cricri7
Thanks Aaron! I was hoping to get the Fairmont because I have a complimentary night with them so it would be nice to not have to change hotels. Kimptons are usually very nice hotels, and 121$ is a good price, but I prefer not to change hotels. Thanks again! Link to comment
cricri7
I finally booked through Fairmont hotels. Since I am a member of their loyalty program, I got a rate of 149$ per night. Thanks to everyone for their help! Link to comment
