Hotwire Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (West Of Strip - Voodoo Zip-line) The Palms Casino Resort

Hey guys! I am new here and I have been lurking around and seeing other threads similar to what I was looking for in a hotel. For starters, I have never done something like this. I usually have stayed in the same places before (Sam's Town, Boulder and Sunset Station and Wynn) and I've booked directly through their sites. Now that I was looking for something cheaper, I found out that Hotwire and Priceline do this bidding thing to get rooms for cheap.

 

At first I was hesitant to purchase a room this way because I didn't want to get stuck in a hotel that my family would be uncomfortable in. I used this site and was lurking around seeing other threads and comparing to the results I was getting on Hotwire. I actually wanted to stay at the Palms and was close to booking on Amoma, but I didn't want to do it because I didn't want to lose out the "next" deal. So I finally decided to take the plunge and it paid off! Thanks to you guys and the hotel list amenities helped me out in figuring out if I would get the Palms or Rio. My preference was Palms, but i would have been okay with Rio.

 

Okay so to give more info, my hotel title was officially, "4-star Casino Hotel in West of Strip - VooDoo zip-line area"

 

For amenities it showed, "Resort, Free parking, Free Internet, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services"

 

Now comparing my amenities to the ones on the list here, what separated in my mind the Palms from Rio was "Resort". I took the gamble and it paid off. Thanks to the help from the board. And it also helped to get $30 off HOTWIRE offer from BetterBidding too! So I was able to get two rooms with double beds for $97 a night!

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool.
