sheree202
I'm hoping to bid on a stay at Dreams Tulum which is all inclusive. How does that work if I'm wanted one room for myself, my husband and 8 year old child? Would the winning bid cover all of us for daily meals?? That seems too good to be true. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
All 'opaque' PRICELINE purchases (ie- 'name your own price' and PRICELINE EXPRESS) are for double occupancy. In many areas (such as Orlando, Disneyland, etc) this typically is not an issue, but in other areas (such as NYC, Chicago, etc) it can be a problem... add to this second list all-inclusive properties since there is usually an additional charge for each guest in the reservation. A better option for this situation would be to use HOTWIRE where you can indicate the number of adults/children in the search as this will also ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in the search (up to quad occupancy) as well as whatever is included in the all-inclusive package of the resort. If you'd like to move forward, what are the dates of your stay and what is your expected budget for this trip? (per nite before fees/taxes) Is Dreams the only resort you're willing to accept or are you open to other options if it is a good value? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment

sheree202
Thank you for your insight! Is there a way to bid and add a child at check in? Otherwise I'll try the Hotwire route. I don't have dates set yet....and I'd be open to other all inclusive hotels. I will definitely use your link when I'm ready to book!! Link to comment
AaronJB
If you bid, you make requests with the hotel after the purchase, but the hotel can say no or charge more. HOTWIRE is really a better route in this case. Please let us know when your dates are set (as inventory/pricing can really vary significantly from day-to-day) and we would be happy to help research options. sheree202
It's been a while since I posted this. But, we finally have dates and plan to move forward. Feb. 17-21. Thank you for your advice. I'll definitely book with your HOTWIRE link! Link to comment
