Welcome to Betterbidding.

The Fall is traditionally a busier/more expensive time in NYC so if you are ready to book, I'd suggest starting to research and look for deals now. Unfortunately, $900 total for a 4* in Midtown for these dates is not going to be realistic; you're likely looking at more towards the $1300-1500+ range, depending on zone.

What is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel thru conventional booking channels?

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
