My son and I are taking a bicycle trip and would like to find a downtown St. Louis hotel that will allow our bicycles to be in our room. There is one reasonable (<$100) that I am considering but would like to confirm the bike thing directly with the hotel before I bid.

If your bike trip will take you anywhere near http://www.maramecspringpark.com/, highly recommended stop. Really one of the most gorgeous spots in the state. Chesterfield's also quite nice if you have any interest in staying a bit outside STL.

Thanks for the advice on Maramec Springs Park. We'll be following US 66, but will detour around that area on the Katy Trail to avoid the Missouri hills! I have added it to my future camping list though!

You were correct, it was the Hotel Majestic at $77 before fees. I called the hotel before bidding and confirmed we could take our bikes to the room. I'm very happy to have a room downtown on a baseball Saturday for under $100 total.
