anjel Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Bid for a resort and 4 star for 3/9 - 3/15 started at 120 then went to130 140150160165175 and still nothing, do I really have to go as high as 200 a night or should I wait until the day gets closer. I have been bidding for about 2 weeks
solosf Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 I'm guessing this is for a specifc zone (South Beach?). The only options I can suggest are staying in another zone nearby or try splitting your bid. Certain dates may be sold out; you might be able to figure out which ones those are by checking the specific hotel's website.I was surprised just how expensive Miami is this time of year on my recent bids. Hotwire has a 3.5 star in Miami Beach for $178. EasyClickTravel has a 4 star (Claridge) in South Beach for $206 that is available (as opposed to "on request").
anjel Posted February 27, 2006 Author Report Posted February 27, 2006 No I went for Coconut GroveKey BiscayneMiami BeachNorth Miami Beackat least 5 different zones and I even tried last night up to 195.00 and nothing.
thereuare Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Are you not interested in the Miami South Beach zone?Have you considered SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
anjel Posted February 27, 2006 Author Report Posted February 27, 2006 No I would like to stay away from SOBE, didn't really want to split the bid on such a short trip. Should I just go as high as 200?
anjel Posted February 27, 2006 Author Report Posted February 27, 2006 Okay just bid again and got Hyatt Regency Coral Gables 130 per night. How crazy is that I went all the way up to 195 per night and got nothing and today got it for 130.00 thank god my other requests were rejected
