Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Union Square East - Nob Hill) Kimpton Sir Francis Drake Hotel

I starting bidding for 4* at $95, used all the rebid zones and ran out at $135. Tried next day starting at $140 and landed this hotel on the first attempt.

Really disappointment with Priceline lately. Greedy bastards. I barely win anything at a good price and have to always pay close to Priceline Express rates. For cars, I've ended up going with Hotwire over Priceline for the past several months. Really starting to hate companies that are publicly traded and greedy for profits.

Not sure why you're complaining about this win as the current rates for your dates at the Sir Francis Drake are $300/nite... so your win above is more than a 50% discount to prevailing rating of a traditional booking.  As PRICELINE EXPRESS (and HOTWIRE) are both opaque services you shouldn't expect huge savings vs. either of these services, the BIG savings should be compared vs. a regular rate booking (which in this instance is $300/nite)

Thank you for sharing your win with the board.
