bluedufflecoat Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 Hello. I'm new to this site. My brother-in-law recommended trying out Hotwire. We're spending a couple of days in Bellevue (Factoria area). I found a 3.5* hotel in the Bellevue area. Has free internet and parking. Amenities: boutique hotel, business center, fitness center, golf nearby, pet friendly, restaurants. Price in USD: $135/night. 80% recommended, Good. Another one was a 3* hotel in the Bellevue area, free parking, breakfast and internet. Amenities: boutique hotel, smoke-free rooms, fitness center, pools, restaurants, business centre. Price: $108/night (40% off - was $181). 70% recommended. Ideally we would like to get Hyatt House. Their website quotes $225/night. Travel period: 9/9/17 - 9/12/17. Otherwise, I am open to any suggestions. Main criteria is that it is close to Factoria, CLEAN and comfortable and good value, thank you.
thereuare Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 Welcome to BetterBidding! I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to each of these listings, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for each: 3.5* HOTWIRE Bellevue for $138.00 Free Parking Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> if this is what you're seeing best guess for this offer would be the Sheraton Bellevue Hotel 3* Bellevue for $106.00 Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> best guess here would be the Hotel 116, a Coast Hotel Bellevue Do either of these work for your needs this trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
bluedufflecoat Posted April 18, 2017 Author Report Posted April 18, 2017 Hi thereuare. Thanks for your insights...can you help me explain the price difference between hotwire and hotwire - easy view tab. I'm not complaining about the prices, but would help confirm that they refer to the same hotels? I think the reviews on trip advisor weren't terribly impressive for hotel 116, coast. I'm definitely happier with sheraton. Trip advisor reviews (responses from Sheraton) say they have a shuttle that takes guests anywhere within a 5 mile radius ... so that might just work for us. Is there any way of getting the hyatt house? :) Only because that was recommended to me.
thereuare Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 I'm not seeing the Hyatt House offered for your dates. You can purchase directly from the BiddingHelper.com HW EASY VIEW tab to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and it's the same property we're referring to. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
bluedufflecoat Posted April 18, 2017 Author Report Posted April 18, 2017 Hi again. I'm considering booking just one night to start and his was the description. $109, 4* Business center, fitness center, internet access, pet friendly, restaurant (s)Self-service laundry, smoke-free rooms BiddingHelper.com says $119 Seattle Marriott Bellevue $218 the Westin, Bellevue is it more likely the Marriott or the Westin? alternatively, I could try to get the Sheraton ... I think it's coming up at $108...
thereuare Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 For this HOTWIRE offer: 4* Bellevue for $109.00 Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet ==> best guess would be the Seattle Marriott Bellevue Note that the IS THIS A GOOD PRICE button shows hotels of that star rating in the area, not necessarily an inclusive list, so there could be other possibilities besides what appears in that pop-up box. Also, keep in mind that if you purchase the one nite, the same hotel may not be offered if/when you decide to move forward and purchase the additional two nites, so splitting the purchase this way opens the possibility that you will need to change hotels mid-trip. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. bluedufflecoat Posted April 18, 2017 Author Report Posted April 18, 2017 Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby quoted $136/night and about $102 in taxes and fees. Also... I'm going to look for another set of dates in Bellevue. Appreciate the help so far! Thank you so much.
