Priceline Hotel: Bidding Strategy for San Francisco 3/25-3/26

Looking for Priceline Bidding strategy for San Francisco near Union Square or City Hall for a 4* or above. Is up to $75 a reasonable target price?

Please tell us the zones you are willing to bid as named by Priceline (you can see the names given to zones and their boundaries on their website). For example, does 'near Union Square' mean that you are willing to bid both Union Square East and Union Square West, or just one of them? As well, there is no zone 'City Hall' so not sure if City Hall is part of the Union Square zones or some other area.

Let us know which zones you're willing to bid and from there we'll be able to suggest a strategy to follow.

I am trying to figure out what hotel this is:

3* San Franciscio Civic Center

One subway stop from Union Square shopping, Beaux Arts buildings surround a European-style city plaza. 15 miles to San Francisco Airport. It is showing Dining, Business center, and gym.

I think it is the Holiday Inn Civic Center, but that hotel has a pool.

Any other thoughts?

When doing a search for the above date i only return one hotel in the Civic Center zone and it is a 2*... are you still seeing the above Hotwire hotel for the nite of 3/25? If so, are you searching for the default 1 room/2 adults?

It is gone now. I should have jumped on it while it was there.

That price is back for the 3* in Civic Center for $59. Any thoughts?

This property has not yet been identified, but if i were to take a guess, the Ramada Plaza seems like a pretty good fit.
