smokeythebandit Posted April 9, 2017 Report Posted April 9, 2017 So im looking to go to Vegas Oct 15-20 and looking a decent hotel at a very cheap price. I see on the express deals a 4* southwest with free internet and bed choice is $52. I think I narrowed it down to the Monte Carlo. Any advice on bidding for this hotel?
thereuare Posted April 9, 2017 Report Posted April 9, 2017 Please start by following-up your previous Priceline Portland hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip, then reply here and we will have a look at your post above. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. AaronJB Posted April 9, 2017 Report Posted April 9, 2017 I'm seeing on PRICELINE EXPRESS (please confirm the correct dates of travel are showing on the detail page after clicking the links below.) 4* The Strip - Southwest for $52 Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Would likely be the Monte Carlo. There is no way to bid for a particular property; if you bid for a 4* in this zone, you could possibly get any of the hotels in that zone at that star rating - the hotel showing on PRICELINE EXPRESS is not necessarily an indicator of what you may get via bidding. Let us know how you would like to proceed. Thank you for keeping us updated on what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. smokeythebandit Posted April 10, 2017 Author Report Posted April 10, 2017 Im not to hung up on the hotel... Just some advice on what to bid in that area for that star. Dates again are Oct 15 - 20 Thanks for the advice in advance
thereuare Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Is The Strip - Southwest the only zone that you're willing to accept, or are other Strip zones acceptable as well? If others are acceptable, please let us know which ones by PRICELINE name. Are you willing to bid up $48/nite (at which point taking the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer along with the board's extra 5% off link) would be a better deal? If you're not willing to bid up to $48 please let us know your maximum bid price. Let us know the information above and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. patw Posted April 14, 2017 Report Posted April 14, 2017 @smokeythebandit, Note that the Monte Carlo pool is currently closed, if that matters to you.
