thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 3.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: 3.5* HOTWIRE Magnificent Mile - Water Tower for $111.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Hotel Indigo Chicago Downtown Gold Coast would be my best guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
AaronJB
For the second listing, there is a Gold Coast-Old Town-Lincoln Park zone, but I'm not seeing a 3.5*. The Indigo is at the top of the Water Tower zone, but it is positive in that it's a very nice area and the subway is easily accessible via the Red line station a couple of blocks away. I'm quite familiar with Chicago and would be happy to offer any suggestions/answer any questions. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Nymeria
The Second Posting was actually supposed to be in the Priceline Forum. I believe I did not post it in the right place. I am looking for a clean and safe hotel for my parents to stay when they visit me for my graduation from UIC. Dates: May 3rd or 4th - May 8th Location: Downtown/River North/Gold Coast/South until Roosevelt limits (easily accessible by the L /CTA) The $111 per night from Hotwire is in my budget and I just wanted to know what kind of hotels I might expect. Preferably with free breakfast incl. Link to comment
AaronJB
The second listing is showing amenities commonly seen on HOTWIRE - was that on PRICELINE EXPRESS? On PRICELINE EXPRESS I'm seeing: (please confirm the correct dates of travel and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the above listing.) 3.5* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast for $113 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities >>>Guess would also be the Indigo. The next cheapest option I'm seeing downtown on HOTWIRE is: 4* River North for $146.00 Free Internet Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> Which would be a potential match for the Felix. I'd rather suggest the potential Indigo for a bit over $30 less (which could go towards breakfast, as Chicago has tons of great breakfast options.) Additionally, the Indigo is a couple of blocks from two nice grocery stores. Tons of restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the Red Line subway. Let us know your thoughts and if you have any additional questions. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. For the following PRICELINE EXPRESS offer (confirm your dates on the landing page of the provided link): 3.5* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast for $113 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess would be the Hotel Indigo Gold Coast Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
