Rashraf003 Posted April 8, 2017 Report Posted April 8, 2017 Looking for 3.5 star of higher near time square and walking distance subway access. I am open to other locations if cheaper and close to subway. will have 4 kids. so need 2 rooms. Anything upto $200 per night/room all in would be good.
AaronJB Posted April 8, 2017 Report Posted April 8, 2017 Welcome to Betterbidding. Please confirm which zones would be acceptable. $200 all-in is unfortunately not going to be realistic for these dates, especially for more than double occupancy per room. Unfortunately, Midtown will likely require $250+. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
Rashraf003 Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 ok, what are my options in long island city. thanks
Rashraf003 Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 3-star Hotel in Long Island City area $136/night, 90% recommended - Hotwire Any ideas which hotel this might be and if its near a subway?
thereuare Posted April 8, 2017 Report Posted April 8, 2017 Is it 1adult/4children in total that you need? How old are the kids? (i'm asking in regards to how easy/difficult it would be to commute w/ them) Where/how are you arriving to the city (driving in, bus, airport (which one), etc?) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Rashraf003 Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Posted April 8, 2017 It will be 2 adults and 4 kids. We are flying in to la guardia. The kids 18, 15, 13, 9. Thanks
thereuare Posted April 9, 2017 Report Posted April 9, 2017 I'm not currently seeing any hotels that are within your budget (not even in LIC)... are you including 2rooms/2adults/4children in your search? If you are still seeing an offer within your budget, please include the full amenity set (and room rate) in your post and we will have a look at the offer. Rashraf003 Posted April 9, 2017 Author Report Posted April 9, 2017 Here are the details but I only put in 4 adults. Is this hotel Ravel? 4.5-star Boutique Hotel in Long Island City area, $159/night Amenities Boutique hotelBusiness centerPet friendlySmoke-free rooms free internet
thereuare Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: 4.5* Long Island City for $150.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free BusinessHi-Speed Internet ==> if this is what you're seeing, the Boro Hotel is believed to be associated with this amenity set so that would be my best guess for this one NYC is not an area where we necessarily recommend booking for fewer guests that you actual have as most hotels have a high percentage of rooms with only one bed and rooms with two beds are often considered an upgrade and cost more than a standard room, but ultimately up to you to decide if this is a risk worth taking.
