GreenTree Inn & Suites, Phoenix Sky Harbor 4234 South 48th Street - bid on Tempe area but this came up and is at airport 

3* 

a so called resort so resort fee to pay - best advertised price was around twice what we paid

Not sure if you're happy with this outcome or not, but if you look closely at the zone boundaries for this area you will see that this hotel is indeed located in the Tempe zone....it sits just south of the Airport zone.
