CLima Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Dears from Better Bidding, First of all, I congratulate you for your tips. They are really wonderful!! My wife and I are planning to travel to NYC, from 26.09 (September 26th) to 04.10 (October 10th) - 8 nights. Our budget is around 1,750,00 including taxes and fees. Regarding the hotel we want something modern, clean and with a good location - it would be wonderful if we could stay next to Times Square and/or Central Park. Could you please give us some advice? If you need further information, do not hesitate to contact us. Regards.
thereuare Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Welcome to BetterBidding! (and thank you for the compliments in the site ) 7 minutes ago, CLima said: 26.09 (September 26th) to 04.10 (October 10th) To confirm, i assume you mean Oct 4th? Is your budget firm at $1750 (this is USD, correct?) or could you stretch a little further if there is something attractive for a little more? (haven't looked yet since want to first confirm your dates, but figured i'd get more information now to save having to ask later in the discussion) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. CLima Posted March 15, 2017 Author Report Posted March 15, 2017 Dear, 1 - Yes, you are right - Oct 4th. Sorry. 2 - Yes, USD. 3 - We can go a little further, if there is something really good. But if we could keep $1,750.00 or less, it would be really fine. Thank you very much!
thereuare Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Unfortunately i'm not currently seeing anything within your budget that i would necessarily feel the need to jump on at the present time... do you feel a need to get this booked asap? CLima Posted March 16, 2017 Author Report Posted March 16, 2017 No, I do not need to book it ASAP. Do you think that if we wait a little bit prices can drop? Moreover, could please tell me the average of prices you are getting? Thank you!
thereuare Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 There i no way to know if rates will come down, or move higher between now and your trip... but in all likelihood you will likely need to increase your budget a bit. For example is this offer: 4* Madison Square Garden - Convention Area for $190 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> best guess would be the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel Next least expensive is a 4* in the Lower East Side zone for $198/nite, which i didn't think you wanted to stay in this zone. I think you'll likely be looking at something in this price range, but hopefully a better hotel than the Wyndham New Yorker.
