shijalude Posted March 28, 2017 Author Report Posted March 28, 2017 Went with $97 ppn 4.5* Champions Gate – West of Disney 95% rec with a price difference of less than $1 than what I originally inquired and as always your guess was spot on - it was the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. This couldn't be any more perfect as this was the hotel my wife and I stayed at after our engagement and now we're staying here for our five year anniversary. shijalude Posted April 25, 2017 Author Report Posted April 25, 2017 Just an update - The hotel was phenomenal. The last time we went they were building out the pool area. The built an amazing lazy river and ate at two of the their on-site restaurants Davids Bar and Crocs, both were superb. Only down side was how far it was from the parks. it was 20 mins away which might not seem like a lot but when your tired from walking the theme parks all day it feels like an eternity. They did build lots of new restaurants around the area and the convenience of a supermarket around the corner is great.
