LAX Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Looks like the boundaries are a bit different than the hotel lists, but I haven't seen these amenities:For 2/22/06 - 2/24/06, coming up as $84. Airport ShuttleComplimentary Breakfast (continental or full)Pool(s)High-speed Internet Access (in guestrooms)Business CenterLaundry Facilities (coin operated)Any idea what this would be? Retail price allegedly $239, 65% savings.
thereuare Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 This hotel has not yet been identified but i'd guess the Residence Inn, Holiday Inn, and Holiday Inn Express would be among the possibilities. I also get a different "retail" price than you do when searching for the above dates, not that it is that important when researching this property. LAX Posted February 19, 2006 Author Report Posted February 19, 2006 Curious if you're using IE or Firefox? I recently switched to Firefox because it's much faster on my PC, but I haven't yet verified if it is causing the prices to return differently (or compares.)
LAX Posted February 19, 2006 Author Report Posted February 19, 2006 Holiday Inn, Residence, etc. would be pushing it for a 3*. Based on my limited observations (as I am more of a PL person) would it be safe to assume that one would drop at least .5* or 1* to Hotwire's ratings? They appear to be overrated.
thereuare Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 See this thread (and the threads within it) for a discussion on HOTWIRE PRICES.It would not be unusual to see any of the above hotels rated 3*, although many of the HI Expresses are 2.5*.
