I'm not currently seeing any 4.5* hotel in this zone for $114/nite (nor any hotel with the amenities above)... are you still seeing this offer on your own HOTWIRE search?

I also noted that the amenities directly above are an exact match for those in your first post, is it possible you didn't search for the correct check-in/check-out dates (perhaps only a subset of your full date range above) and therefore the same hotel was offered but at a lower price (if the 'wrong' date range were the less expensive nites of your full date range?)

I will add that you're also near my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers.
