thereuare
For consistency and to avoid any confusion, please use the US date format what posting to the board and post rates in USD so prices are not subject to interpretation based upon future currency fluctuations (and it also makes it easier for us to find the same hotel among the offers when we replicate your search) I assume this is the offer you're seeing (confirm your dates on the landing page of the provided link): 5* Downtown - Port of Miami for $196 (there is a currency changer on the top right of PRICELINE's page if the landing page is in USD and you would ultimately like to purchase in EUR) Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> if so, best guess here would be the Kimpton EPIC Hotel Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment

thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. thereuare
About a dozen hotels were researched or suggested above, most of which are within the top 5-15% of hotels in Miami or Miami Beach. If none of these are good enough for your needs this trip then i suggest you book direct and get exactly what it is that you are looking for (use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com if your needs require something in a specific location) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
chris1405
"Best" is relative... my second list of hotels is from miami beach which is completely something else as downtown is. so did i understand this correct- you are not going to help with identification? Link to comment
thereuare
We have a limited amount of resources and try to answer everyone who is seeking help in a timely manner (and on this note i think we do an excellent job, as most (not all) posts on the board are answered within just a few hours time). Your new list of hotels brings the total count for this thread to about 20. Even if each property only takes 3 minutes to research (it can often take longer) that is nearly an hour just for this one thread, which unfortunately wouldn't permit us to get to others in a timely fashion who are seeking help with their own trips. Perhaps if you told us more about what you're looking for, rather than a blanket "I don't like any of those...", we can help you find something that does work for you needs. For example: Kimpton Epic - ranked #11 hotel in Miami with words like "perfect" and "can't improve on one thing" used to describe it InterContinental - ranked #7 hotel in Miami "fabulous location and great service" and "great stay" Conrad Miami - #10 hotel in Miami Atton Brickell - #9 hotel in Miami While i agree that 'best' is relative, with so many overwhelmingly great reviews of the properties above, what about each of the above doesn't suit your needs? Twice in this thread you mentioned the Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, and JW Marquis (Marriott??)... are these specifically the hotels you're hoping to land this trip? chris1405
Didnt want to be unpolite or something like this - I also dont want to steal your time or have endless discussions about what is good or what is bad. I just did not like the hotels you mentioned - is is no offence! I decided that in Downtown nothing for me fits so I wanted to know if in South Beach a Hote is suitable. Yes you helped to identify 11 hotels so far - I didnt know that the number of helping is limited. Anyway I am going to still using your links, bt I think we will achieve no progress here, so you can close this topic. Chris Link to comment
