Priceline Hotel: 4* Maui (Kaanapali - Lahaina) Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa

Would anyone be able to help me possibly name this hotel? My best guess would be the Sheraton Maui but a second opinion would be greatly appreciated.

As well, if I wanted to attempt to bid for a lower price in this area for a similar hotel - would anyone be able to suggest a bidding strategy to save a bit of money? $217 isn't terrible if all else fails, but would love to get some advice on how to get myself the best price. For reference, I have currently bid up to approximately $160USD for a 4* hotel in central and south Lahaina all getting rejected.

Thanks in advance!

If you're gameplan is to first try bidding on PRICELINE, let's go that route first, since if you're successful there is little sense in taking time to research the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer above (or it's possible that this may not be the hotel that is offered once you've exhausted your bidding and are willing to pay the $2xx+ currently being asked)

When bidding 4* in the Maui region you have THREE re-bid zones.  If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* Central Kaanapali
Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $175, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $180, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...
Select 4* South Kaanapali
Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $175, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $180, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...

Select 4* Central Kaanapali and South Kaanapali
Bid $185, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $190, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $195, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $200

If the above is rejected, wait 2+ hours and re-try, once again using this PRICELINE link to begin your bidding (please use this link and not the link in any emails that priceline may send indicating that you're eligible to bid again):

Select 4* Central Kaanapali
Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $195, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $203, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $205, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...
Select 4* South Kaanapali
Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $195, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $203, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $205, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...

Select 4* Central Kaanapali and South Kaanapali
Bid $208, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $210, if rejected add re-bid zone...
Bid $213, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Any questions (especially confirming your re-bid zones if you're unsure or new to the subject)

Okay, so I am confused by the subject of this thread. Just below the main subject of the thread it reads, "$112......5/2/17-5/9/17." What in the world does the $112 mean? Was that the price of the initial rejected bid? Based upon the comments in the thread, I would assume so, right?

Bengals,

Others are equally confused as to what your brother ultimately decided to do for his wedding hotel stay.

Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans.

It would also be appreciated if you shared all your wins with the board so that others can benefit from the information, just as you are hoping to gain insight from those who have posted before you.

In regards to your inquiry above, the format used throughout the board for hotel wins is:
star_rating region_name (zone_name) hotel_name

room_rate_per_nite ... arrival_date - departure_date

... so the $112 is the winning bid amount for this stay
