kcbb Posted January 28, 2017 Report Posted January 28, 2017 Hi! New to this site (used HOTWIRE links of course). Years ago my husband and I were avid PRICELINE bidders for Disneyland hotel stays and knew all of the tips and tricks. Once we had kids, we decided that guaranteeing being within walking distance was more important than the cheapest deal. Now that our kids are a bit older, we wanted to try again to find a good deal. Hoping that we can find a good hotwire deal because I don't have time to figure out all the star zones and free rebids for priceline. Check-in Feb. 22, out on the 25th. One room, two adults, two kids (age 2 and 5). We'd like to keep it under $100/night if possible. We've stayed at Red Lion, Doubletree, Portofino, Desert Palms, and Anaheim Fairfield, and have been happy with all. (Fairfield being #1 probably). Would be willing to go lower star level if we could get a "high probability across the street" property. Would like to stay in Anaheim North or Convention Center/south as a 2nd choice. Shuttle or walking distance highly preferred. Any guesses on these currently showing? Or other suggestions? Disneyland-Anaheim Area, 2 star, $84/night, 85% recommended, Free parking, breakfast, and internet, pool, self-service laundry Disneyland- Convention Center- 3 star, $99/night, 95% recommended, Free parking and internet, Resort, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center Disneyland- Anaheim Area, 2.5 star, $96/night, 85% recommended, Free parking, breakfast, and internet, smooke-free rooms, pool, self-service laundry, golf nearby. We'd like to book as soon as possible, and will happily update thread with winning deal. Thanks in advance!
AaronJB Posted January 28, 2017 Report Posted January 28, 2017 Welcome to Betterbidding. I think there may be more amenities than you have included above. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper tool and look in the EASY VIEW TAB, do you see additional amenities beyond those listed above? If so, please confirm the full amenity set and we would be happy to take a look. I'm seeing: 2.5* Disneyland - Anaheim for $96.00 Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Smoke Free Pool Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf ==> Guess would be Quality Inn Maingate 2* Disneyland - Anaheim for $85.00 Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Pool Laundry Hi-Speed Internet ==> I'll guess Super 8 Anaheim Drive. 3* Disney - Convention Center - Anaheim for $98.00 Free Parking Free Internet Resort Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> My guess would be the Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort Would any of these possibilities be of interest? If not, let us know more about what you are looking for (what would be your desired max budget?) and we would be happy to do further research. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
kcbb Posted January 29, 2017 Author Report Posted January 29, 2017 Thank you so much for help. I don't think we'd be interested in any of these properties based on location and reviews. I think we'll end up booking directly. Thanks!
thereuare Posted January 29, 2017 Report Posted January 29, 2017 If none of the above, what is it that you are looking for? What is your maximum budget? (per nite before taxes/fees) If you do decide to make a regular hotel booking it would be appreciated if you did so thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com (which has a great interface for finding a hotel near your exact desired location and for filtering search results to your desired criteria) Let us know whatever you ultimately decide to do for this trip. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
